Biography

For the past fifteen years Marcia Rosen, author of this Memoir Workbook, has provided people of all ages and life experiences with strategies and inspiration to open and expand the doors of their creativity so they can write and publish the words, dancing in their heads and hearts.

Marcia is a literary agent for self-published authors and has been an advisor and consultant to writers of memoirs, fiction and non-fiction books for the past fifteen years. She often works with authors on concept development,structure and editing. Marcia has also acted as a ghostwriter. She has taught numerous writing classes and workshops and presents the popular lectures Memoir Writing and Encouraging the Author Within You!. She is also the author of The Woman's Business Therapist: Eliminate the MindBlocks and RoadBlocks to Success and is presently completing her own memoir, The Gambler’s Daughter: Lessons I Learned From My Father. Marcia currently lives in New Mexico and works with authors from New York to Florida to California.

Marcia has been a book advisor and consultant to authors, and writers interested in writing and publishing both memoirs and fiction These authors appreciate her ability to inspire, motivate, and encourage, while providing practical information regarding the publishing world.
